We are Ken and Britney Lambdin. We started Neighborhood Pottery to be a space where our fellow neighbors can have fun and build community. So come put your phone down and get your hands dirty!

Classes in the Neighborhood
1 Hour Wheel Class
(Public)
This class offers beginners a chance to try their hands at the wheel. No pressure to keep a piece. Come play in the mud!
(Ages 13+)
*Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class
What’s Included:
- Short demonstration and hands-on instruction
- Multiple opportunities to practice on the pottery wheel
- All materials included
- No pressure to generate a piece!
- If you make something you like, we can finish and fire it for $15/per piece.
- Any finished pieces will be trimmed, fired, and finished with a food safe glaze
- Any finished piece will be available for pickup in approximately 4-6 weeks.

2 Hour Wheel Class
(Public)
Whether you’re brand new to wheel throwing or ready to grow your skills, this class gives you the space to learn, create, and connect in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment.
(Ages 18+)
What’s Included:
- Short demonstration and hands-on instruction
- Multiple opportunities to practice on the pottery wheel
- Choose 2 pieces to be glazed and kiln-fired
- All materials included (clay, tools, glaze, and firing)
- Finished pottery is food-safe and dishwasher-safe
- Ready for pickup in approximately 4-6 weeks
- Additional finished pieces may be kept for $15 each

2 Hour Wheel Class
(Private)
Perfect for date nights, birthdays, or special gatherings – this option books the studio for your group, up to 8 people (Minimum 2 required).
(Ages 13+)
*Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class

- Multiple opportunities to practice on the pottery wheel
- Choose 2 pieces to be glazed and kiln-fired

8 Week Class ~
A longer format class for students who have already taken a beginner lesson. This class will feature advanced throwing techniques along with taking you through the full process of making, decorating, and glazing your wheel thrown pieces.
(Ages 18+)
What’s Included:
- Classes will be 3 hours long, offering you plenty of time to work.
- Full access to the studio, including wheels, slab roller, paints, and glazes
- One 25lb bag of clay (Additional bags available for purchase)
- One free “2 Hour” Open Studio pass (Additional passes available for purchase)
- Firing included for work made during class. (no outside/production work)
- Minimum enrollment for class is 3 people
